Feature: Accounts, register, login

Create a free account to sign in, buy an audit, and manage your jobs in one place.

Purpose

You need a free account before you can buy an audit. The same sign-in works across the product app.

Cost and entitlements

Account creation is free. Paid credits and jobs are a separate checkout step.

What you will see

  • /register — email/password; required Terms/Privacy checkbox (links open the marketing Terms and Privacy pages); optional marketing emails; Google when that button is shown
  • Marketing home, How it works, What we check, Hunter Pack, Roadmap, property Risk Preview, For buyers, and Security — Start your audit (and For buyers / Roadmap Create an account where that label is used) open /register on the product app; those navy headers have Log in and Start your audit. How it works and Security use Start your audit on the close as well.
  • /login — email/password; Google when shown; passkeys labelled Coming Soon
  • Product home — signed in → /account; signed out → /login
  • /account — email, sign out, Hunter credit balance and expiry, job list with status/progress, Start audit (uses a credit) or Buy an audit, Stripe return banner after payment, and a Coming Soon list for lifestyle/equity modules (not for sale).
  • Footer on product pages: not legal advice (automated information only)

Create account stays disabled until Terms are checked.

Rules that affect you

  1. You must accept the current Terms of Service and Privacy Policy to create an account.
  2. Marketing emails are optional.
  3. After sign-in you stay inside the product app (we do not send you to an external site).
  4. Google sign-in appears only when it is enabled for the environment.
  5. Passkeys are Coming Soon — not a sign-in control yet.

Important wording

Register checkbox (Mandatory UX), marketing opt-in (“Send me occasional product emails…”), “Passkeys — Coming Soon.”, “Too many attempts — wait and retry.”

Coming Soon

  • Passkeys: Coming Soon copy only — not a control
  • Trinity lifestyle/equity: listed on Account; each name opens /coming-soon/... and is not for sale
