How to log in

Sign in to your account with email and password, or Google when that option is shown.

Summary

Sign in on the product app (app.) with email and password (or Google when that button is shown). Passkeys are Coming Soon and are not offered as a sign-in method.

Who this is for

Buyers who already have an account.

When to use

Returning to checkout, jobs, or reports. Visiting the product home while signed out takes you here. Marketing Log in in the header on home, How it works, What we check, Hunter Pack, Roadmap, and property Risk Preview pages also opens /login on the product app.

Before you start

Use the same email you registered with.

Steps

  1. Go to /login on the product app (app.).
  2. Enter email and password → Sign in.
  3. Or Continue with Google when that button is shown.
  4. On success you go to /account, or to the page you were heading to if you were sent here from somewhere else in the app.

New Google users who have not accepted the Terms are sent to /register to complete the checkbox.

What you will see

  • Email, password
  • Sign in
  • Continue with Google (only when Google sign-in is available)
  • Link: New here? Create an account
  • Line: “Passkeys — Coming Soon.”
  • Error: “Email or password is incorrect.”
  • Error: “Too many attempts — wait and retry.”

Outcomes

  • Success: you are signed in and redirected
  • Wrong password: generic incorrect-credentials message (we do not confirm whether the email exists)
  • Rate limited: “Too many attempts — wait and retry.” — wait about 10 seconds
  • Already signed in: you go straight to /account (or your original page)

  • Offer passkeys as a live sign-in method
  • Confirm whether an email exists on a failed password attempt
  • Treat this service as legal advice
