Feature: Terms of Service and Privacy Policy

Read the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy you must accept to create an account.

Purpose

The public Terms of Service and Privacy Policy live on the marketing site. You must agree to them to create an account. Checkout also asks you to confirm you have read the Terms.

Cost and entitlements

Free to read. Accepting them does not charge you.

What you will see

  • /terms — Terms of Service (draft until go-live). Version date at the top. A banner states an Australian lawyer has not signed the copy off, and placeholders such as company name, ABN, and contact email are still shown. A clause index jumps to each numbered section.
  • /privacy — Privacy Policy (same draft banner, version date, and clause index). Tables cover what we collect and how long we keep it (uploads deleted when analysis completes; full results up to 12 months).
  • Each page links to the other. The site header includes Log in and Start your audit (same as other marketing pages). These pages do not end with a “create an account” band.
  • Footer: not legal advice (automated information only).
  • On /register, the required checkbox links open Terms and Privacy in a new tab.
  • On /checkout, the Terms acknowledgement links to /terms.

Rules that affect you

  1. You cannot create an account without accepting the current Terms and Privacy Policy.
  2. Until go-live, the pages are drafts. Company details may still show as placeholders.
  3. The service is automated information only and is not legal advice.

Draft banner on both legal pages:

This page is a draft for counsel review. An Australian lawyer has not signed it off. Placeholders such as company name, ABN, and contact email will be completed before go-live. This is not legal advice.

Coming Soon

None on these pages. Features labelled Coming Soon in the Terms are not part of a paid purchase unless your receipt says otherwise.
