Job shows as failed
What it means when your audit shows as failed, and what to do about it.
Summary
A paid audit can show as failed if analysis cannot complete safely. Uploaded files are not kept after a failed job. Account or the job page shows This audit could not be completed plus the job id. A failed-job email is not sent yet.
What you might see
- Job status failed on the job page or account
- Progress sitting on “in progress” for several minutes before it fails
- Later: a short safe reason code in a message or email — never a quote from your documents

What to try
- Note the job id (the identifier on the job page). Do not paste contract text.
- If the job failed after a short wait, you will be able to start a re-audit for the same address once that product ships.
- Waiting several minutes while status is in progress can be normal. Failed after that means it could not finish.
