Feature: Help centre

Search the help centre or ask a question in your own words to find answers from our guides and troubleshooting articles.

Purpose

A public library of guides, how-tos, and troubleshooting articles that explains how PreSign works, without needing to sign in or contact us first. You can browse it, search it, or ask it a question in your own words.

Cost and entitlements

Free, no account needed. Anyone can read the help centre, whether or not they have used PreSign.

What you will see

  • A Search button in the help centre header (or press Ctrl K / ⌘ K) opens a search box.
  • Type a couple of words, like "refund" or "upload", and matching articles appear as you type.
  • Where switched on, an Ask a question box sits above the search results. Type a full question and press Ask to get a short answer built only from the help centre's own articles, with links to the pages it came from.
  • If nothing matches, search says so plainly rather than showing unrelated articles.

Rules that affect you

  1. Ask only answers from published help-centre articles. It does not use outside knowledge, and it never sees your account, your documents, or your report.
  2. Ask may say it could not find an answer. If your question is not covered by an article, it tells you so instead of guessing, and you can still browse or search manually.
  3. Not legal advice. Answers are general information about how PreSign works, not advice about your specific contract or situation.
  4. Questions are logged so we can see what people ask and add missing articles — see Feature: Retention, purge, and privacy basics for what we store.

Important wording

Not legal advice (global chrome, Mandatory UX §1):

Not legal advice. This is automated information only. It is not a substitute for advice from a licensed conveyancer or solicitor. Do not make offers, bids, waivers, or contract decisions in reliance on this report alone.

Coming Soon

Ask a question is being rolled out gradually. If you only see the search box and no Ask field, it isn't switched on yet — keyword search still works normally.

Situation What happens
